K-12 Summer Teacher Workshop
The Silk Route: Historical and Cultural Legacies
August 13-15, 2012
Madison Concourse Hotel, Madison, WI

This workshop will bring together experts from around the country to consider the historical and cultural legacies of the Silk Route. An expert in curriculum and instruction will provide guidance on how to use the information gathered during the 3-day workshop in actual lesson plans.
Participants will earn one UW-Madison graduate credit for successful completion of this course. Tuition will be covered by a U.S. Department of Education Grant (pending final approval) and financial aid for housing will be available on a limited basis.
