ISLAM IN THE WORLD TODAY

A Briefing for K-12 Teachers

April 9, 16, and 23, 2005


This series of teacher workshops will offer you historical insights to issues behind the headlines, as explained by college faculty who are experts in their field. This workshop is designed to address Wisconsin Standards for teacher development: it will help teachers understand the central concepts and practices of islam in the world today. These sessions will help enable you to create learning experiences that make aspects of this topic meaningful for students in your classroom.
